Gottipati Brahmaiah (3 December 1889–1984) was a freedom fighter, popularly known as Ryotu Pedda (Leader of Farmers). He led protests against the oppressive tax regime of the British and participated in the boycott of Simon Commission. Hailing from Machilipattinam, Andhra Pradesh, Brahmaiah is also credited for reforms which led to the entry of Dalits into temples in the region.
